Subscription to WEEE Ireland programs for our Clients, the use of low emission trucks and stringent in-house green practices exemplify our efforts to become a sustainable transport solution company.
Over 80% of the modern truck comprises metal; mainly iron and aluminium. If plastic components and rubber are added, 85-95% of the vehicle is recyclable. This falls in line with our ethos – we specify the use of environmentally sound paints for the livery on our vehicles. We operate on-site balers and compactors and we recycle oil, timber, plastic, polystyrene, paper, tyres, batteries and cardboard. Our truck wash system features a chemical separator to ensure that only biodegradable matter is run off into the drainage system. We specify environmentally friendly detergents for use in our vehicle washer and Kingsley holds a current Trade Effluent Discharge Licence (Download) issued by Dublin City Council.
